My good friend, Ashley, who lived in South Africa, Zimbabwe and worked in Zambia, Malawi, Botswana and Swaziland before migrating to the US first introduced me to Pastor Ronald.

After moving to the United States, Ashley set out to make connections that would help support orphanages or ministries in sub-Saharan Africa. After vetting more than 2,500 individuals and organizations, he found three that met his criteria. He settled upon Pastor Ronald and Zion Glory Ministries as Pastor Ronald was already working in ministry and did not simply "have his hand out for American money."

During a conversation he casually mentioned that he was sending $100 to Pastor Ronald via Western Union. I asked him to tell me more and after learning about everything Zion Glory Ministries is doing, I told him that I would start sending $100/month as well.

After many questions, conversations, and efforts to vet Pastor Ronald and his ministry, I felt led to do more. That is when my wife and I formed PRC Uganda. The name stands for Pastor Ronald’s Children.

I have a friend from college who is friends with the director of HEED Uganda, which is about 12 years down the road from us. She had one of her local pastors go visit Pastor Ronald. In our follow-up debrief, he must have said seven times, "I am so amazed at what he is doing."
